Проскакивают здесь периодически бодания людей со скоростью перемещения
мыши в Иксах. Отвечают им разными рецептами, иногда даже правильными. Мои
эксперименты показали, что нужный эффект дает Option "Resolution" "N" в
XF86Config-4 (подсмотрел в README.mouse), где это самое N по умалчиванию
имеет занебесное значение для многих мышей с протоколом IMPS2. В частности
у меня мышь начала себя по человечески вести только после указания Option
"Resolution" 360
В связи с этим пожелание: а может в какой из Drake'ов эту настройку?
Поправьте меня, если этой настройкой уже можно рулить а-ля Оффтопик.
Хотя, IMHO, как в Оффтопике не будет. В многопользовательской системе у
разных пользователей могут быть разные представления о комфортной скорости
перемещения мыши. Неужели тупик? Ведь не станешь же менять XF86Config по
прихоти всех и каждого? Или ситуация решаема на уровне per user настроек?
P.S. Очень хочется Linux as XFree86 Powered Workstation. Пока трудно :-(
