Здравствуйте.
Вообщем собрался я выставить частоту в консоли 85 или поболее и не
получается.
Карточка Matrox G400
в lilo.conf добавил
vga=792
append="video=matox:vesa:440"
и всё равно в консоли 60 Гц.
Почитал статью
http://linux.uatel.net/matroxfb.phtml
И начал делать как в ней сказано
изменил matroxfb.c в указанном месте
и приступил к компиляции ядра
Выкинул всё из конфига что вроде не нужно,
протоколы сетевые не трогал в основной массе.
И на стадии make bzImage ругается на модуль Raid
и IP-Sec. Я убрал поддержу ReiserFS из конфига
ядро скомпилировалось.
Но при первой же загрузке
упало в кору после
autorun ...
... autorun DONE
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k block-major-3, errno = 2
VFS: cannot open root device 03:07
Kernel panic
Может не надо было Experimental code включать в ядро?
Далее попробовал поставить SVGATextMode, а rpmdrake требует cdialog
я ему первый диск, а он мне в ответ
Во время установки возникла проблема
file /usr/bin/dialog from install of cdialog-0.9a-ipl9mdk conflict with file
from package dialog-0.6-ipl10mdk
file /usr/share/man/man1/dialog.1.bz2 from install of cdialog-0.9a-ipl9mdk
conflict with file from package dialog-0.6-ipl10mdk
