Но мне не кажется, что ситуация принципиально отлична от, например, ps
или pdf. Или - противно это говорить, но - от *ML после инкорпорации
W3C. Во всех случаях есть "регент", который более (как в случае с
Adobe) или менее добросовестно выполняет свои обещания. Проблемы
заключаются в том, что а) обещания не есть enforceable обязательства и
б) неизбежно появляются приложения-"любимчики" технологий,
позиционированных как универсальные.
