Должно быть типа:

А что не работает? Интерфейсы при загрузке не поднимаются?
Тогда - проверить скрипты ifcfg-eth.. в /etc/sysconfig/networkscripts.
Если скрипты есть и с ним все нормально, то проверить грузятся ли
модули сетевых карточек.

а что говорит /sbin/chkconfig --list network ?
Вообще-то скрипты есть всё как написано, но действительно похоже
модуль сетевой карты не грузится при загрузке, хотя в
modules.conf прописано alias eth0 3c59x.
а команда chkconfig --list network говорит что
0:откл. 1:откл. и.т.д.
Как сделать чтобы модуль грузился автоматически?
ifconfig поднимает интерфейс, но после перезагрузки надо
снова его поднимать.
