на самом деле все не так плохо :)
и реально из этой кучи памяти занимается совсем не много:
если посмотреть на
cat /proc/`pidof X`/status
то у меня, например, получается

т.е. если сложить Data, Stk, Exe и Lib (реально занятая память) получится
значительно меньше, чем страшные 140M
