Мне помог только один совет (я сам чисто в Линуксах не разбираюсь). Надо при
инсталяции нажать Ф1, потом написать
linux hdc=cdrom (если загрузка происходит с секондари мастера, или, наверно,
hdd=cdrom, если со слейва). У меня вот так установилось. ПРи этом процессор
оставался разогнанным, удма - включенным, пио выбирался автоматически.

Здравствуйте
Не устанавливается Junior 1.1 на машину следующей конфигурации
плата Soltek SL-75 KAV ( VIA KT 133A) Athlon 850
Primary Master - hdd ata 100
Pimary Slave - hdd ata 33
Secondary Master - CD-RW
Secondary Slave - CD-ROM
Зависает после определения всех дисков.
Ежели отключить оба CD-ROM в БИОС и устанавливать с винта, все нормально -
все устройства определяются и Junior устанавливается.
Spring 2001 встал отлично, а Junior не хочет.
Точно знаю что эта проблема обсуждалась. Но не могу найти в архиве :-( - уж
простите... Google не помог.
PS Извиняюсь за путаницу в кодировке в первом варианте письма - решил
попробовать Netscape под Win.
