После установки Desktop 5 добавил необходимых пользователей, но войти под их именами
не могу: Could not start kstartupconfig. Check your installation.
Под пользователем, установленном при инсталляции абсолютно все работает. Что делать,
кроме попытки переустановить ОС не знаю.

Все решилось удалением установленных дополнительно пользователей и их разделов в
/home. При последующем создании все заработало.
