Добрый день!
Имею на домашнем компьютере внутренний ISA модем US Robotics 56K. Не софт-модем. Без проблем работал на ALT Linux 2.3 Compact.
Теперь я ALC 2.3 снес, и поставил ALT Linux 2.4 Master. Модем оказывается постоянно занят. При старте системы, во время cheking new hardware явно слышен щелчек модема. После этого получаю сообщение: /mnt/cdwriter in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab/bin/mount failed

Простите, что не по делу -- но вообще-то можно было просто
добавить 2.4 в репозитории (убрав оттуда 2.3) и apt-get update;
apt-get dist-upgrade. Снос системы -- это ж маленькая катастрофа.

Поставил, сделал pnpdump > /ect/isapnp.conf
> И /etc/modules.conf
Не совсем понятно что здесь прописать нужно?
