Ну вроде докопался.
заходим в /etc/init.d/local
удаляем всё ненужное
пишем
splash -s /usr/share/splash/themes/Master/config/bootsplash-любимое разрешение.cfg
сохраняем.
Удаляем /etc/issue. Перегружаемся.
Вроде ничево зырится.
Кстати вышеназванный ...cfg можно подкорректировать.
и соответствующую ...jpg тоже.
