а до строчки $rpm -i ваша_программа.src.rpm" вы не дошли?
man rpm надо читать для общего развития.
что такое вообще по-вашему "установка *.src.rpm"? в смысле, что при этом должно произойти?если при установке rpm бинарники раскидываются по файлово
