Hi ALL !
Захотел поставить Junior по FTP. Вот что получилось.
1) Машина - Cel333 / 64MB / 4GB / S3 Trio3D
2) Скачиваю
ftp.altlinux.ru/pub/distributions/ALTLinux/Junior-1.1/i586/images/networ
k.img
3) Скачиваю
ftp.altlinux.ru/pub/distributions/ALTLinux/Junior-1.1/i586/dosutils/raww
rite.exe
4) Делаю из этого хозяйства загрузочную дискету
5) Гружусь -- F1 -- text -- FTP -- сетевая карта найдена -- параметры
сети заданы (в интернет напрямую, без прокси) -- ftp server
ftp.altlinux.ru -- Mandrake directory
pub/distributions/ALTLinux/Junior-1.1/i586 -- получаем mdkinst_stage2.gz
6) Опаньки! "install exited abnormally -- received signal 9" и
предложение перезагрузиться
7) Нехорошие мысли о качестве /dev/hands. Внимательно с начала повторяю
пункт (5). Опять та же ошибка и предложение перезагрузиться :-(
8) Решаю обратиться к коллективному знанию -- www.google.com.ru -- поиск
"junior ftp install site:.altlinux.ru"
9) Вижу, кто-то уже сталкивался с подобной проблемой

10) Следую даденным на указанное сообщение ответам и советам -- НЕ
ПОМОГАЕТ :-((
