Уважаемые друзья!
Заранее извиняюсь, если мой вопрос покажется Вам слишком простым.
С таким модемом (Modem OMNI 56K PCI) в Windows все работает (COM2),
а в Linux выдает сообщение о том что "модем занят" (ttys1,ttys2), хотя я пытаюсь только настраивать соединение и, естественно, ни одна из коммуникационных программ не обнаруживает модем.
Не могли бы Вы мне объяснить, в чем проблема и как ее устранить?

Этот модем немножечко софтовый... :-) Такие в Линуксе обычно не работают,
впрочем, посмотрите www.linmodems.com, может повезет.
