Это пока доступно только в сизифе.
Будет в p6. Установить пакет
altlinux-freedesktop-menu-nested-menu-0.19-alt1.noarch.rpm
и посмотреть меню в GNOME или в XFCE.

В .desktop файлах надо указывать категории.
Если указано Categories=Utilities;Calculator; значит,
калькулятор :)
