При установке с altlxdermx-lite-5.1-20100829-beta2-live-cd.iso:

На диск 2Gb после выделения 512M под swap не устанавливается с
сообщением типа "not enough room to unsquash the fs".
На диск 4Gb установился. Установщик не хочет размечать диск автоматом
со стандартным сообщением "недостаточно места для установки".

При наборе адреса вида ftp://ftp.altlinux.org выдает ошибку "Действие
не поддерживается"
С smb:// то же самое.
Еще замечено:
1. В LiveCD сеть по DHCP подхватилась и сразу отвалилась.
/var/log/messages в прицепе.
Запустилась руками через dhcpcd eth0. В установленной системе
подхватывается автоматом.
2. OpenBox с дефолтной темой падает при 24bpp со словами "depth =
24bpp is not supported by blah-blah-blah ...". При "DefaultDepth 16" в
xorg.conf работает.
3. В Remmina нельзя подключаться по XDMCP: нет Xephyr. RDP работает.
У меня нет ничего железного вроде PI-II/64-128M RAM, чтобы оценить
юзабельность на старых машинах. Заранее спасибо, если кто-то
подскажет, как в qemu принудительно снизить "частоту" эмулируемой
машины. Сейчас пишу из-под qemu -m 64 ...
