Всем привет,
Захотел тут посмотреть кино с субтитрами. Закачал. Назвал одинаково с
основным файлом. И оказалось:
Штатный проигрователь Гнома просто выпадает в осадок при попытке
подгрузить субтитры и автоматом их не показывает.
Xine их автоматом подгружает, но показывает крякозябли вместо текста.
MPlayer -- всё нормально.
Отсюда вопрос: -- Как лечить первые два? И почему с ними вообще есть у
нас проблемы?

Почему кодировка влияет на саму возможность загрузить субтитры?
Кодировка почему-то не влияет на mplayer.
И как обучить xine правильной кодировке?
