Тут уже сомневаюсь, что можно что-нибудь исправить - у меня превьюшки
тоже загружаются
достаточно долго, если файлы большие по размеру (фотографии с
цифрового аппарата).
В тех же настройках есть галочка "use thumbnails embedded in files",
но похоже это не сильно
помогает. Если выйти из каталога и опять войти, то появляются почти
сразу, значит кэш используется.
