Поставить систему на райд уже можно, но опять же это криво до жути.
У меня FastTrack TX2000 При загрузке с диска (в режиме expert) Мастер предлагает вставить
дискетку с модулями "третьих фирм" - вставляй не вставляй эта фишка не
работает (в логах пишется "not found floppy.o"). Потом будет экран где
можно выбрать SCSI адаптер, так вот там по каким-то ведомым только
альтистам причинам НЕТ ни одного модуля для промайза, приходится
дожидаться когда на экране появиться предложение выбрать язык --
переключиться в альтернативную консоль (ALT-CTRL-F2) -- набрать
заветные слова: "modrobe sd_mod", "modrpobe FastTrak" (в моем случае)
и со спокойной душой ставить систему на raid. Но после установки все
равно придется загрузить rip подмонтировать файловую систему - создать
корректный ram диск (mkinitrd) и прописать в lilo.conf заветные
настройки для ide ну там ide=0x1f и так далее.
Вот так-то все грустно...
