Здравствуйте.
Возникла необходимость поставить ALJ 2.2 под VMWare Workstation 4
(4460-win).
Однако в результате установки у гостевой системы (ALJ) невозможно
запустить Х: чёрный экран, но курсор "шевелится".
Сделал всё, как указано в документации VMWare.
При установке VMWare Tools в гостевую систему (ALJ) мне было
предложено скомпилировать модуль для моего ядра, т.к.
прекомпилированных модулей для него не имелось. Все недостающие для
этого пакеты были доставлены из дистрибутива ALM 2.2 (gcc2.96,
kernel-headers). В результате мне было доложено, что VMWare Tools
успешно установлены и сконфигурированы. При следующей перезагрузке
появилось сообщение об ошибке:
Unresolved module dependencies in <имя модуля VMWare Tools>
X по-прежнему не запускается (без VMWare Tools вообще пишет: NO
screens found).
При установке видеокарта была определена как "VMWare ..."
Под гостевую ОС выделяю 256 МБ ОЗУ.
Если есть принципиальные проблемы именно с данной связкой программ, то
какие дистрибутивы ALT (в т.ч. старые) будут беспроблемными под
VMWare 4?
