У меня на встроенной GF6150 и мониторе Samsung SyncMaster 940Fn (19",
подключён через DVI) упорно выбиралась частота 60 Гц для разрешения
1280x1024, в то время как монитор нормально тянет 75 Гц, пришлось ему
принудительно прописать режим 1280x1024_75 в xorg.conf. При этом ранее
на ALD4.0 на сколько я помню 75 Гц выбиралось само без принудительного
прописывания в xorg.conf.
Дома на другом мониторе (LG 17", подключён через VGA) и таком же
встроенном видео пришлось принудительно прописать 800x600_60, иначе
получал чёрный экран в играх с руганью монитора на недопустимую
частоту развёртки. Опять же до этого на ALD4.0 работало всё нормально
само по себе.
Вот и не знаю, то ли это новый xorg (по сравнению с тем, что был в
ALD4.0) стал так криво частоты выбирать, то ли это с драйверами от
nVidia что-то не так.
