Поищите в архивах рассылки, здесь где то с полгода назад,
рассказывали как прибить процессы, которые используют ваши Самба
ресурсы. думаю подобный спсосб сработает и в этом случае, а вообще то
действительно лучше отдавать мягко - "soft"
