Все поставил. Окончательный вариант вышел так:
4.1.1+dist-upgrade до бранча, потом репозитарий 5 бранча и оттуда
только ядро с модулями. Все работает на ура, и сеть на месте, и флешки
монитруются, и камера работает (хоть и с оговорками).....
А вот с моим "старшим" ноутом HP Compaq nc6220 не взошло тоже самое.
Он давно живет на 4.1.1+бранч. Я уже писал тут в другой ветке о том,
что в нем проиходит постоянное пересоединение с точкой доступа, каждый
раз лезет окно с паролем в виде абры-кадабры. Так как нетбук прекрасно
работает с той же точкой доступа, понадеялся на то, что новое ядро с
модулями полечит мне сей глюк. Но..... в этой комбинации NM вообще
вай-фая не увидел.... ((((
Буду ждать релиза десктопа 5, а потом попробую поставить на чистую....
