Доброго времени суток.
Раньше подобной вещью не пользовался, решил попробовать. Когда
разрешил пользователям делать шары в домашнем каталоге и попробовал от
пользователя, получил ответ, что надо проставить suid для скрипта
fileshareset. Проставил, но ничего не изменилось. Тогда я попробовал
воспользоваться fileshareset напрямую. Результат обескуражил. Если
suid не установлен, скрипт запускается, но ругается на невозможность
изменить файлы smb.conf и exports. Что логично. А если бит установлен,
то: Can't do setuid (cannot exec sperl). Поиск по гуглю дал понять,
что sperl это некая программа, которой у меня нет. apt-cache search
sperl не дает результатов. Система ALD4.0+branch.
Подскажите мне, где взять сию програмулину или что я вообще не то сделал.....

ЗЫ: То, что с нового года (даже с конца предыдущего) я получил только
несколько писем из hardware@ и ни одного не из community@ не из ряда
других рассылок это нормально? не проснулись?
