И еще неплохо перед этим установить шрифты от Windows (либо
руками, либо через FontDrake, тут об этом уже писалось и есть в
FAQ'е). После такой установки лучше проверить XftConfig -- там
может быть прописан неверный путь к этим шрифтам.
