Да. Это цепляет весь KDE4. Так не надо его сносить. :)

Вот это и есть правильное действие.
Ещё KDE4 надо рестартовать, и в настройках приложений настроить
правильные модули вывода.
Ещё была фича, что надо было переключатель "Headphone"
на каком-то Acer-ноуте потыкать, чтобы звук появился.
Посмотрите права на устройства /dev/snd/*.
Я работаю с p5.
Может в 5.1 что-то опять поменялось.
