На ваше счастье, aterm настраивается стандартным способом, через
X-ресурсы. Для задания цветов используются ресурсы color0-color15,
а также foreground и background.
Значением каждого ресурса должно быть иксовое описание
соответствующего цвета. Один из вариантов такого описания -- цвет в
формате #rrggbb или #rrrrggggbbbb, где rr.. gg.. bb.. -- шестнадцатеричное
значение компоненты цвета.
