Столкнулся с очень неприятной ситуацией.
Ставлю видеокарты InnoVission Tornado GForce 2MX 400
наступаю на очень неприятную ситуацию, пусть не сразу, но вешается
компьютер при работе в
_РОДНЫХ_ для Linux OpenGL приложения Unreal, Quake3, CanonSmash,
опробовал на материнских платах Canyon 7V3A, Gygabyte 7??? последняя с
чипсетом AMD761+VIA686B звук внешний, но он к делу не относиться. При
загрузке на оной обратил внимание что nVidia kernel module говорит что
чипсет ей вроде как незнакомый, но запускается.
Переношу всё железо и винт на материнку с KT133 -отлично, и родные
приложения и wine(X)овые.
Отсюда возникает мысль что с этими северными мостами(BIOS на
материнке?) не дружит или ядро, или nVidiaGART модуль входящий в
поставку Junior2. С Canyon овскими матеинками наблюдолся такой же
эфект и под Вын98, зависали на играх если в BIOS включен режим 4x
AGP, при 2xAGP - нормально.
Вот и думаю куда копать:
Ждать Мастера 2.2 со свежим ядром и драйверами(с Инетом сейчас напряг)
Всё таки потянуть BIOS на материнки, но вроде свежие...
Искать другую базу материнки, видюхи?
Подскажите кто что думает, с чем сталкивался....
