Привет, Linuxоиды!
Во Fluxbox 0.9.10 появился переведенный на русский язык man fluxbox.
Но я незнаю как его в пакет упаковать :)) Он весь в кодировке UTF и,
отображается у меня в кракозябрах. При локали koi8-r думаю, будет
также. Мне кажется его нужно конвертнуть в нужную кодировку, но вот
в какую? Т.е. я могу конвертировать в cp1251, но это не подойдет для
пользователей с локалью koi8-r. В /usr/share/man есть каталог ru, но
там нет подкаталогов для нужной локали. В какой кодировке они там
лежат? Как посоветуете решить данную проблему? Может стоит
конвертировать в нужную кодировку после устнановки пакета? Но может
же оказаться, что у разных пользователей разные локали. Как быть?
И еще я хочу устанавливать все manpages не в /usr/share/man, а в
/usr/X11R6/man, но там нет каталога ru :(

По слухам (тм), man >= 1.5k-alt1 умеет перекодировать. Для этого "надо
правильный .charset" (с) ldv. Глянь, как man-pages-ru упакованы. Думаю,
можно сделать в кои8 и положить вместе с остальными русскими манами.
