так что, wifi на 3.0 compact никак не поднять? карточка dell 1370 на
броадкомовском чипе

У меня такой же в Dell XPS M1210
Есть драйвер bcm43xx, но требует firmware от виндового драйвера.
Конкретно моя карточка поддерживается начиная c 2.6.20.6(там появилась
поддрежка новой версии firmware).
Для вашей смотрите lspci и http://bcm43xx.berlios.de/?go=devices
Я решил подождать пока в ALT будут более новые ядра. Скорей бы...
