Здравствуйте !
Спасибо всем, кто откликнулся на мое тестовое письмо -- все уже
наладилось.
Я собираюсь делать свой первый сервер на Линуксе и избрал для
этого дистрибутив Master 2.2. Поэтому у меня будет к вам наверное
много вопросов, простите.
Это будет файл-сервер для ~15 рабочих станций и одновременно шлюз в
интернет и прокси. Со второй частью более-менее понятно: есть опыт
настройки шлюза на OpenBSD. А вот задачи файлсерверной части:
1. Доступ к общим папкам с разделением прав доступа. Вопрос:
достаточно ли стабильна Samba3, чтобы ее реально использовать ?
СтОит ли делать сервер контроллером домена, если у меня нет других
Windows-серверов ? Или для такого кол-ва машин лучше обойтись
одноранговой сетью ?
2. Резервное копирование на ленту. Какие программы кто использует ?
Если у кого-нибудь есть одиночные файл-сервера под Линуксом,
поделитесь, пожалуйста, опытом: как что настроено (идеология)и какие
программы используются. Может быть кто-то знает содержательные статьи
по этой теме.
И еще: после установки с дисков дистрибутива как лучше обновить
систему ? Приходит в голову сначала обновиться из updates, а потом
обновить нужные пакеты из Сизифа ...
Буду благодарен за любую помощь.
