В принципе, это правильно, больше и быть не должно. По стандарту
всего 320 линий в этот сигнал напихать можно. 1024x768 разрешение у
меня получалось поставить, но вот качество сильно оставляет желать
лучшего. Тут к спецам по ТВ технике нужно обращаться, а не к IT
спецам, в общем то.

Может стоит позвонить по +7-800-555-55-55 и попробовать задать вопрос

1920x1080 и на мониторе и на телеке через DVI это реальность. Вот на
счет через S-Video, особенно, через коробочку, сильно не уверен.

Тут затрудняюсь ответить. Но при фильме 16:9 у меня никаких полос на
телевизоре нет.
