Пересобрать .src.rpm из Сизифа, как правило, проще компиляции из
исходников от разработчика, уж больно Alt экзотичен.Кроме того, не
надо забывать, что стабильные релизы Alt Linux обычно отстают от
мейнстрима на год-полтора. У меня в своё время хорошо если каждая
третья программа собиралась.
Тут вопрос в том, чего человек хочет --- получить работоспособный
десктоп или разобраться, как что устроено. Для первой цели лучше
выбрать другой дистрибутив, наверное: Debian или *ubuntu, там весь
необходимый софт есть в репозитариях и собирать вообще ничего не надо.
