Новый Window Maker из backports, FreeMind, XHKeys, Free Droid из
Сизифа (собирал .src.rpm). Кажется, всё. И то, и другое поставлено
давно, перезагружался после этого не раз, всё нормально работало.
Последним моим действием перед тем, как всё накрылось, была смена прав
на файлы в домашнем каталоге, на которые в результате запуска какой-то
KDE-шной программы в привелигированном шелле выставились рутовские
права. Но а)на все файлы в /-разделе вроде права остались нетронутыми
б)не понимаю, как изменение прав на файлы в /home могло сломать
аккаунт суперпользователя.

Похоже. А делать-то чего? =) С pam я дела никогда не имел, конфиги его
не трогал...
