А каким модулем управляется ваша D-Link DWL-G630 ?
Если ath5k, то рекомендую добавить в /etc/modprobe.d/options строку
options cfg80211 ieee80211_regdom=EU
Ядро 2.6.30-std-def-alt8
У меня после этого одноименная карточка стала работать гораздо
устойчивее, чем на родном ath_pci. Теперь ath_pci в блеклисте.
Хотя, и на нем работало нормально.
Оговорочка: на Сизифе ...
cat /etc/net/ifaces/wlan1/options
DISABLED=no
USE_IFPLUGD=no
NM_CONTROLLED=yes
TYPE=eth

Если что, стучись в личку, есть и карточка, и точка доступа под рукой...
