Модуль ath5k "порождает" девайс wlan1 ...
При этом, мой DWL-G630 стал работать гораздо устойчивее,
чем с ath_pci.
Но нужно прописать строчку:
options cfg80211 ieee80211_regdom=EU
в файле
/etc/modprobe.d/options
Поменяется режим индикации.
Если ath_pci у меня "моргал" двумя глазами,
то ath5k "моргает" только одним, правым глазом.
При условии устойчивой его работы, на "моргание" можно наплевать,
как по мне.
