Здравствуйте!
Вы можете попробовать в альтераторе выбрать драйвер Vesa(базовый видеодрайвер без аппаратного ускорения) и протестировать работу с ним. Правда, разрешение экрана может измениться.
Возможно, стоит глянуть настройки видеосистемы в BIOS Вашего ПК и ограничить используемую видеопамять.
