Пожалуйста :) Мне не трудно - я давний пользователь subfs :) И на
многие "грабли" уже наступал.

Ну попробуйте еще так:
mkdir /media/usbdisk/tmp
cd /media/usbdisk/tmp
df -h /media/usbdisk
Или например зайти в System Volume Information и оттуда вызвать df. То
есть использовать какой-либо ресурс с диска. Тогда он гарантировано
будет примонтирован в момент df.
