На счёт игры WarThunder я могу по собственному опыту сказать одно - у неё не очень хорошая оптимизация графики на OpenGL, причём на винде и на Linux fps почти одинаков.
Вот на своей видеокарте NVIDIA 210 я могу играть лишь на самых минимальных настройках с fps в среднем 8-9. Я однажды брал на время теста видеокарту NVIDIA 8600 (если не ошибаюсь), то с ней игра шла до 30 fps(ну и графические настройки там можно повыше сделать)...
Насчёт видеокарт AMD я сказать ничего не могу, но я читал о проблемах с драйверами под Linux.
