Пользовался kernel-update, обновлял (alt7) были небольшие траблы, но все решилось. Сорри за оффтоп-вопрос, а как корректно снести старое ядро? Новое (alt12) поставил уже давно, проблем в работе нет, а старое (только само ядро без модулей) - 50 Мб. Не хочется держать место занятым без нужды.
