Приветствую!
Как обстоит дело с выравниванием томов при разметке диска?
Когда я устанавливал сервер на P7, на диске с 4К физическими секторами
инсталлятор сделал невыровненные тома. Тормозов избезать удалось IMHO
только благодаря организации массива RAID с кластером 64К.

Я нарезку разделов делаю до установки, parted этот вопрос контролирует.

Для выпусков 8.1 добили выравнивание расширенных разделов
на досовой таблице и любых на GPT (в 8.0 и образование 8.1
не вошло):

На моих тестах с SSD и 4K-тошибой всё хорошо.
