Господа -неужели никто не сталкивался с проблемой использования mppe?
Или (что ещё хуже) никому не удалось застваить работать?

У меня всё завяло на сообщении pppd:

Jan  4 15:37:28 localhost pppd[3761]:The remote system is required to authenticate itself
Jan  4 15:37:28 localhost pppd[3761]: but I couldn't find any suitable secret (password) for it to use to do so.
Jan  4 15:37:28 localhost pppd[3761]: (None of the available passwords would let it use an IP address.)

Как это победить? В /etc/ppp/options "noauth" прописано и chap.secrets существует.
