У меня hdparm просто не знает про -E. Но это ладно, обновим... Вопрос
в другом: удержится ли настройка скорости после втыкания другого
диска? По моему опыту использования ASUSовской утилиты под оффтопик,
делающей то же самое, после втыкания нового диска сидиром снова
выходит на максимальную скорость.
Если не удержится, то, соответственно, вопрос: как подвесить на
supermount что-то типа демона, который бы автоматом ограничивал
скорость в нужный момент?
Да, и ещё, уже не по поводу CD, а по поводу винтов: в приводившейся
статье рекомендовалось записать установки hdparm в
/etc/sysconfig/harddisks. У меня такого файла просто нет. Где он может
лежать? И где, самое главное, можно найти описание его параметров? man
harddisks молчит, как партизан...
