Привет Всем!
Хочу собрать массив 10 уровня.
Отдать его в распоряжение LVM.
Данные планируется хранить разные, от разделов под документы, до
нарезанных разделов для машин KVM с доступом через virtio
Встал вопрос в размере chunk size.
Почитал интернеты, но к общему знаменателю не пришел.
Один говорит что 64кб оптимально, другой крутил-вертел, говорит 128кб
норм. Еще есть мнение что mdadm сам с усами и пусть делает chunk size по
умолчанию.
Глянул, по умолчанию он у меня его собрал с 512кб, что далековато от
первых двух вариантов.
Насколько я понял в дальнейшем поменять его будет проблематично.
Подскажите, пожалуйста, кто пользует RAID10, какое Вы используете
значение chunk size?
