Здравствуйте.
Есть тут у меня один небольшой но очень важный вопрос.
У меня упал syslog.
И не пишется почти никакие логи - а хочется.
на вопрос service syslogd status пишет что
syslogd dead but pid file exists.
в списке процессов он отсутствет при этом cat /var/run/syslogd.pid
говорит что номер процесса 2025 что неправда.
Если удалить это файл (syslogd.pid) то service syslogd status говорит
что syslogd dead but subsys locked.
Что то дальше фантазия и чтение литературы меня никак не просветлили
/etc/syslog.conf никогда не менял содержимое его смотрел вроде все в
норме.
rpm -qa | grep syslog
syslog-common-1.4.1-alt11
syslogd-1.4.1-alt11
систем spring+updates.
apt-get говорит что все в порядке.
Может кто знает?
