И еще одну тему все-таки затрону, с вашего позволения..
Началось все с очередной попытки получить хотя бы звук из Logitech USB
Headset (наушники с микрофоном и разъемом usb)
Изучил кучу информации про это - у многих не заводится, у некоторых
вроде получалось. Одни клянут pulse, другие - alsa.
Устройство видится абсолютно везде - в dmesg видится, выбор юсб-шного
устройства во всевозможных миксерах осуществляется, а звука нет..
Объясните, пожалуйста, что у нас сейчас в моде у нас по дефолту для звука?
И какой минимальный набор пакетов должен быть в случае выбора только
alsa, а какой - для pulse. За что там "дергать", чтобы что-то "поиметь"..
После OSS я вообще потерялся в звуке (мол, работает alsa и ладно). Есть
ли краткое руководство-памятка - зачем одно, зачем другое, как они не
должны мешать друг другу, и как сосуществовать (если это им, alsa и
pulseaudio, вообще надо), необходимый набор пакетов и т.д....
