На паре разных компьютеров с P7:
[root@gw-hn ~]# ntpdate pool.ntp.org
3 Nov 15:57:08 ntpdate[301520]: step time server 31.135.73.5 offset
-6.413001 sec
[root@gw-hn ~]# ntpdate pool.ntp.org
3 Nov 15:57:45 ntpdate[301544]: step time server 31.135.73.5 offset
-3.699546 sec
[root@gw-hn ~]# ntpdate pool.ntp.org
3 Nov 16:00:34 ntpdate[301742]: step time server 85.21.78.8 offset
-16.969838 sec
за 3 минуты 17 секунд разницы! Выбор hpet, tsc, acpi_pm в качестве
таймера не влияет.
на одной машине: 2.6.32-ovz-el-alt88
на другой: 3.10.13-std-def-alt1
ntpd пытается мужественно бороться:
