Система P6 (с последними обновлениями). AcetoneISO от обычного
пользователя не монтирует образы (ISO) выдает окно со следующим содержанием:
Error, could not mount image.
Solution:
Try converting the image to ISO or extract the content to a folder from
the upper menu "Image Conversion."
NOTE: it is NOT possible to mount multi-sector images.

При этом если запустить от рута, то монтирует нормально. Права на
искомые файлы раскрыты. Но каких-то других прав не хватает? До этого
была система с другим железом, подобного не замечал.

Вспомнил, в прошлый раз выполнял команду
control fusermount public
