timings и PIO modes (не помню, давно там не был)?
А разве тайминги в биосе не к памяти относятся? Все что я там
нашел это IDE Prefetch Mode и HDD Block Mode - влияния на поведение
зипа не оказывают - в 12-й консоли ругань:
hdc: lost interrupt
ide-floppy: CoD != 0 in ide_floppy_pc_intr
hdc: ATAPI reset complete
И все - консоль в которой зависло обращение к девайсу мертвая.
На telinit 6 не реагирует - просто сыплет в 12-ю консоль эти строки.

У меня со всеми 2.4 работает (раньше зипа не было). Но у меня
KT133/686_A_.
Везука! А я че-то приморочился. Надо сделать.
