Ага!.. Любопытная вещь. Попробовал. Спасибо за наводку.
Ставил ленивым способом не влезая в подробности, ибо весит копейки:
# apt-get install kdeaddons # там kdeaddons-kicker
# apt-get install kdetoys-kweather
Запускаем:
- правой кнопкой мыши по Панели задач=>Добавить аплет на панель
- в появившемся окне выбираем:
Информация о погоде
Какая на дворе погода
: Добавить на панель
Правой кнопкой мыши по аплету в Панели задач=>настроить KWeather
В окне:
опция Погода - выбрать регион, страну, областной город - добавить
опция Показ - выбрать областной город
Применить.
Радоваться жизни.
