Добрый день.
Есть .djvu файл, открываю в evince, просматривается нормально, а вот
печетает негатив.
Как побороть, или превратить .djvu в другой формат?

Это какая-то проблема с драйверами конкретного принтера. Мне пришлось
для графических файлов "прикручивать" к моему Xerox Phaser драйвера от
НР laseJet 4V.
Попробуйте подобрать другой драйвер к принтеру

Насчёт побороть, не знаю, но вот есть утилитка такая - djvups
