В sysadmins@ не отвечают, прошу помощи зала.
ALT Desktop x64, KDE 4, поставленный еще из бэты пятой платформы, и
обновленный до теперешнего 5.1
# uname -r

В качестве основного устройства используется SB Live!
Какое-то время назад начал пропадать звук. k3b, например, вместо
трубного гласа стала испуганно икать (ква и все). До недавнего времени
это было неактуально, но в последние пару недель наступила полная
тишина. То есть ни системных звуков, ни звука в видеоплэйерах. Странное
исключение составляет xmms: упрямо звучит через libALSA.so
Что поправить/поставить/снести для исправления ситуации?
